Reno, Nevada — June 11, 2025 — TAD Beauty is thrilled to announce that we have been named a finalist for three separate categories in the 2025 BeautyMatter Awards, including: Innovator of the Year, Best Breakthrough Technology in Ingredients, and Best Breakthrough Skincare in Eye/Brow. The BeautyMatter Awards have become a benchmark for excellence, and the ultimate accolade for businesses operating across the global beauty ecosystem. This honor recognizes our commitment to innovation, excellence, and leadership.

We are so honored for the specific categories we are finalists in:

Beauty Matter Innovator of the Year

The Beauty Innovator of the Year selects the person who has made meaningful contributions to the business of beauty by pursuing and executing novel thinking, challenging the status quo, and/or using creative problem solving to move the industry forward. We are so incredibly proud that our CEO and Founder, Michelle Nguyen, is a finalist for this award.

Beauty Matter Best Breakthrough Technology (Ingredient)

The Best Breakthrough in Technology award recognizes the creation of a new ingredient or technology or innovative use of an existing ingredient or technology associated with the formulation of cosmetic products.

Beauty Matter Best Breakthrough Skincare (Eye/Brow)

The Best Breakthrough Skincare in Eye or Brows Award recognizes innovation in a finished eye or brow product related to either formulation, delivery system, new format, use of technology, or sustainability. The TAD Lashes is a finalist for this award!

"This nomination means so much to our team and shows all the work we have put into developing the TAD lash system has paid off. We are so honored for this opportunity to be recognized in the beauty community," - Caitlin McAninch, VP of Marketing

The BeautyMatter Awards shine a spotlight on companies across the entire beauty value chain, from multinational giants to rising indie stars, ensuring that everyone involved in bringing products, brands, and services to life for consumers around the world has the chance to be recognized.

“In a world that has become increasingly transactional, we remain committed to recognizing good work based solely on merit,” said BeautyMatter founder and CEO, Kelly Kovack. “When someone is recognized as a BeautyMatter Award finalist, it’s because they put in the work to be the best.”

Judging is conducted by a diverse panel of independent experts, selected for their deep category knowledge. Entries were rigorously evaluated based on relevancy, impact, and innovation. This year’s finalists represent the cutting edge of the beauty industry, a showcase of creativity, progress, and meaningful change.

"Numerous beauty industry award ceremonies tend to be politicized or connected to product promotion. In contrast, the BeautyMatter Awards stand out as a refreshing and dynamic experience. Their vibrancy, rawness, and edginess align precisely with the industry pulse that BeautyMatter understands so well.” - Dr. Robb Akridge, Founder & CEO of Opulus Labs and BeautyMatter Awards judge.
