Michelle’s idea for 3D-printed lashes came from a realization: traditional lash manufacturing just couldn’t deliver on her vision. She had three key goals:

From these ideas, TAD 3D Memory Flex Technology was born. This breakthrough material is unlike anything else in the lash world. It works with your body temperature, ensuring your lashes hold their curl and shape, even if you sleep on your face. You’ll never wake up with misshapen lashes again.
But it didn’t stop there. We developed a microstructure design at the base of each lash segment, adding tiny fibers that sit at a 90-degree angle. These fibers "hug" your natural lashes from multiple points of contact, ensuring better retention and less discomfort. This means your lashes will stay put, feel secure, and look amazing for longer.

TAD Beauty was founded by Michelle Nguyen, a pioneer in the lash industry with over 18 years of experience. Her journey began in 2006 as a professional lash artist, where she honed her skills and developed a deep passion for making lash services more accessible and effective for everyone. Michelle has always been about finding smarter, better ways to do things. With her professional lash extension and nail brand, PLA, she focused on providing professional-grade products to cosmetologists, manicurists, and estheticians. But in 2021, when she became allergic to traditional lash extensions, she realized she had to create a product that was different—something that didn’t exist in the beauty market.
That’s how the idea for TAD Beauty was born. TAD was truly built from the creative minds of PLA, a globally known professional eyelash extension supply company. Michelle migrated members of PLA to TAD to help drive the dream forward. This was crucial to the development of our lash system, with many talented lash artists involved in R&D and creation of the TAD lashes.
